  • By goh on Jan 4, 2010

i would like to book mazda 2. what is the booking fees and is it refundable?

    tks.

  • Booking fees is RM3,000. It is refundable. Do book early to secure ur allocation and eligible for the Introduction Price. Do contact me at 013-360 2020 for booking. Tq

  • By Me on Jan 4, 2010

    - The “promo” is valid till?
    - Subsequent to that RM3,000 do we need to pay more downpayment or it is ok to get a full loan?

  • Hi Me,
As for now, no new memo out yet. So, we still stick with the introduction price. Thats why i advice customer do place ur booking early to secure and lock the pricing and stock allocation. No full loan is applicable for Mazda2. Therefore, depends on ur loan amount either u need to top up high or low subsequent to the RM3,000 booking fees. Tq

  • By Me on Jan 8, 2010

But still have to bring all those documentation? IC is not enuf? Since this is only booking, not applying for car loan watsoever…

  • By katee on Jan 8, 2010

what color is it available in? and wat is d loan interest rate??? :)

  • By m2fan on Jan 8, 2010

tks for the info. is there an actual car for preview in yr showroom? do i hv to specify the color upon booking?

  • Hi Me,
I.C is enough for booking. The extra documents is for loan application purposes. But if it is in ur hand, u can bring it along. If not, u can submit later on. Tq

  • Hi Katee,
    The color available are :
    Sedan :-
    1. Cool white
    2. Metropolitan Grey
    3. Sparkling Gold
    4. Highlight Silver
    5. Black Mica

    Hatchback :-
    1. Spirited Green
    2. True Red
    3. Highlight Silver
    4. Metropolitan Grey
    5. Aurora Blue

Interest rate for Mazda2 should be around 2.9% for 9 years and 2.8% for 5-7 years. If u have an account in the particular bank, i can push lower for u.

  • Hi M2fan,
No bro. Launching in Mac 2010. No preview yet at this moment. Once available, i will inform in my Blog dun worry. My advised, it is better to specified at least 2 colors when book the car. The purpose for early booking is for fast allocation right :) Therefore, if got color been specified the best for us to allocate stocks for u then. Tq

  • By zuwairi on Jan 9, 2010

  • By Felicia on Jan 12, 2010

if i place a booking now, when i can get my car?

  • Hi Zuwairi,
Which model u refering too? Anyway, if 10% D/P – 9 Years should be around RM800+.

  • Hi Felicia,
If u book from us (Bermaz), u should get ur car for delivery around Mac which is after the launching of the car.

  • By vincent on Jan 14, 2010

    hi Iza,
What is the loan % can get on this car? Both Sedan & Hatchback…

  • By vincent on Jan 14, 2010

What is the mininum d/payment for both Sedan & Hatchback…?

  • By vincent on Jan 14, 2010

    hi Iza,

in your video, got White for hatchback. How come not taking in to malaysia?

  • By nizam on Jan 16, 2010

hai….what about the price in langkawi?

  • Hi Vincent,
Max loan for Mazda3 Sport both Sedan/Hatchback is 90%. And min D/P is 10%. But if u prefer lower the D/P, do contact me for further info.
As for the 1st batch, no white for hatchback. But i am sure later on there will be white for hatchback because white is the most popular color for Mazda.
For Mazda2, 3x Free Labour charge. U just need to pay for the parts.

  • By Eddie on Jan 19, 2010

Hi Iza….can send me the price list of Mazda 3?
If D/P is 50K (Mazda 3 sedan), what is the interest rate for 5 yrs loan? Montly installment?

  • By Ciderman on Jan 19, 2010

I just booked my Mazda2 with a 3S dealer in JB, can’t wait for the 2 to come :p

  • By Aaron on Jan 20, 2010

    Hi,

Im very interested in the Mazda 2 sedan. Do you guys have an outlet in Penang (reason is I want Pg reg no)? Im currently based here in KL, 1U area. Wonder which outlet has the actual car at least(better can test drive) so I can drop by one of this days. Do advise, thanks.

  • Hi Eddie,
Which model bro of Mazda3 ? We have few model – 1.6L or 2.0L. Sedan or Hatchback ? Do let me knew . Tq

  • Hi Ciderman,
Good for u bro. But better book with BERMAZ, faster allocation :)

  • Hi Aaron,
In Penang we have only dealer, no branches there. No problem in getting Penang plate no although u book in KL bro. I can kaotim all that for u.

As the Mazda2 not yet launch, there is no car for test drive and viewing. But we do have 1 unit of Hatchback sometime been display (at limited time). Not evertime. It is due the car actually is for R&D purposes.

  • By Eddie on Jan 21, 2010

Hi Iza, Mazda 3 1.6L Sedan.
    D/P planning 50K. Loan for 5 yrs.
What is the minimum interest rate can offer right now?
What is the estimated monthly installment?

  • Hi Eddie,
If loan RM60,000 for 5 years. monthly should be around RM1137.50 (Interest 2.75%). If u are taking higher loan amount, i can push the interest rate lower for u. Tq

  • By Chan on Jan 28, 2010

Do you all give high trade in if I buy a Mazda? How much for my Jun 04 Toyota Vios 1.5E?

  • By Yeoh Seng Wai on Feb 6, 2010

    Dear Bermaz,
I m seriously considering to buy the Mazda 2 hatchback. How much trade-in value can i expect from my wife’s Kenari 1.0 (M) year 2002? I m confused because the dealer in Ipoh Chin 3S told me that the price is not confirmed. So, is the price for the hi-specs hatchback of RM81,000 valid? TQ

  • Hi ieda,
If u book the Mazda2 after launching, it might takes u 1-2 month for delivery.

  • By KKT on Feb 20, 2010

    Dear Izaruddin,
I am also a SA from dealer, pls do not mislead customer to deviate booking to Bermaz. Dealer and Bermaz is the SAME. One Family. Understand dude!!

  • By KKT on Feb 20, 2010

    Dear Yeoh Seng Wai,
I am from Chin 3S Ipoh, regarding the Price as we had mentioned is still not FIX yet, is only tentative price.
Please do not worry, you can place the booking in Ipoh, ok.

  • By KK on Feb 20, 2010

Hi, I am interested with Mazda 2 Hatchback.
    when will it be launched?
Where is Bermaz office? near Toyoto Federal Highway?
Do you have a showroom and service center in Puchong?

  • By Del on Feb 20, 2010

    Dear KKT,

why must u hijack other’s website?
It’s always up to us, customer to decide where to buy the car? Furthermore i feel more comfortable buying from SA that know their products well and buying from the authorized distributor. Anyway it’s always up to us to choose our SA.

BTW i’m from Kuantan and i feel comfortable dealing with Iza as he always ans my queries.

  • HI,

I quite interested the 5 door Mazda 2,may i know the Mazda show room is available in Johor Bahru? And the above mention prize is the final prize for us? Any further discount?

  • Hi KKT,
Dealer and Bermaz is not same bro. Dealer buy car from Bermaz and sell it back to customer. Purely focus on sales. Whereas Bermaz, are the Sole Distributor and master holder of Mazda in Malaysia in terms of sales and after sales support.

So, as for my advised to customer it is the best to buy from Sole Distributor (Bermaz) compare to dealer when it comes to sales and after sales support. More advantages right ? But at the end, it is at customer hand to choose whatever is the best for them.

  • Hi KK,
Mazda2 at 1st will be launching in Mac, but later switch to April this year. My office is at Jalan 219, along Federal Highway which is same row as Hong Leong bank and AVON. Yupe, it is same row as the old Toyota 3S showroom.

  • Hi Del,
    I hope u enjoy ur rides :)

  • Hi Patrick,
We have only dealer in Johor. We have 3 dealer in JB. Yes, it is the final price for Mazda5 as for now we are giving FREE 3 Years Service for Mazda5.

  • By Rico on Feb 22, 2010

    Hi Iza

Did you have any dealer in Batu Pahat?

Will Mazda Malaysia setup a showroom in Batu Pahat?

    Thank you very much.

  • Hi Rico,
At the moment only service centre is available in Batu Pahat. It is our appointed dealer actually running it. No showroom yet at the moment there. Buut we do have booking all the way from Batu Pahat. No problem bro to handle ur case. Do contact me for more details. Tq

  • By zara on Mar 3, 2010

    Hi Izaruddin,
i’m interested with mazda2 hatchback, can u email me the brochure/specs. what is the lowest interest rate for mazda2? for 4-5 years loan with 20k d/p. thanks

  • Hi Zara,
No brochure or exact specs out yet. Once out, i will update it via my Blog. As for now, the details pricing is out already. U can check it out.

Interest rate for 4-5 years should be around 2.75-2.80%.

  • By mb3300 on Mar 4, 2010

Can I get the interest rate to be at 2.4% for the Mazda 3 sport 2.0 with a d/p of RM 20k for a 9 year loan?

    Please confirm, thanks.

  • By mb3300 on Mar 4, 2010

    Correction ***

    2.4% or lower.

And how much is the booking fee and it is refundable.

    Thanks.

    April is my month.

  • By Esther on Mar 5, 2010

is the showroom/test drive unit available???

  • Hi mb3300,
Thats way too low bro at 2.4%. Unless the loan amount is high (RM400,000 or above). If D/P RM20k for 9yrs tenure, i think the best interest rate for is around 2.75%.

  • Hi Esther,
As the car not yet launch, there is not Test Drive unit at the moment. Once available i will update my Blog

  • By Esther on Mar 6, 2010

How abt showroom unit? is it available?

  • By Aaron on Mar 7, 2010

Nice white sedan pics. Is this the high specs sedan? Noticed the rims and fog lights. However, is this the one with the bodykits?

  • By KKY on Mar 8, 2010

Hi Iza, can you let me know the Mazda 2 Sedan shown in Bermaz website is 6 compact disc changer?

  • Hi Esther,
No showroom unit at the moment. Will update a notice here once the unit is available.

  • Hi Aaron,
Thanx. If i am not mistaken it is the high specs version if i base on the 16″ Sport rim and fog light. Nope, bodykits not yet been fitted.

  • Hi KKY,
No confirmation yet regarding the high specs comes with 6 CD charger or not. But i suspect 90% thats it is only comes with single disc version for our market.

  • By KKY on Mar 9, 2010

    Hi Iza,
How about the unit available in Bermaz? Is there any possibilties optional upgrade to this 6 cd changer because I found it sound system is quiet good when I was try the display units (Hatchback Mazda 2).

  • By Madza-ian on Mar 9, 2010

    Hi Iza,
Is Mazda 2 come with keyless system?

  • Hi KKY,
I dont think there is any possibilities to upgrade to 6 CD changer cause it will void warranty.

  • Hi Madza-ian,
Nope :( . No keyless entry with Malaysia model.

  • By Madza-ian on Mar 9, 2010

Too bad. Why only M’sia model don’t have keyless entry!

  • By kelvin on Mar 9, 2010

Does mazda 2 sedan high spec come with leather seat?

  • By Aaron on Mar 9, 2010

    Hi Iza,

Not yet fitted means the hi spec will be fitted with bodykits later?

  • By M2M on Mar 10, 2010

    Hi Iza,
For M2 sedan (standard spec), is there any possiblities to add with original bodykid but yet still under warranty?

  • By Thunder on Mar 10, 2010

    Hi Iza,

The Mazda2 Sedan photos u uploaded are the high spec version, right?

Why this Mazda2 sedan High Spec version did not come with the skirting (Body-kit)? As you mention high spec version will come with the skirting.

    Looking forward from you soon.

    Thank you.

  • By DBF285 on Mar 10, 2010

    Iza,
may i know, does mazda 2 sedan high specs comes with leather seat?

  • By Rash on Mar 10, 2010

    Iza,

Currently I’driving Honda City 1.5 IDSI.
May I know whether the specs of MAZDA 2 same as Honda City? What about the fuel consumptions?
    You have any idea?

  • Hi Madza-ian.
I think it is because of the costing of the keyless entry

  • Hi Kelvin.
Leather seat is an optional item.

  • Hi Aaron.
Latest news it out. Only Hatchback is fitted with bodykits. In Sedan, the bodykits is an optional item

  • Hi M2M,
Yes, u can add the bodykits and it is still in warranty.

  • Hi Thunder,
As for today info, for Sedan no bodykits will be install. It is an optional item. Already updated my list of specs.

  • Hi DBF285.
Leather seat is an optional item.

  • Hi Rash.
I dont think our Mazda2 have the same specs as Honda City. Mazda2 have better specs ! Mazda2 won World Car Of The Year 2008, did City win too :)

    Fuel consumption is around 6.4L / 100km.

  • By Rash on Mar 10, 2010

:) yeah true also…World Car of the Year…The Sedan version, isn’t as big as city or more spacious? It’s kinda hard to estimate since it’s nt in the show room yet..What about the free service…for hw many years / km?

  • By Rash on Mar 10, 2010

    Iza,
I need the latest specs as well…Do you able to provide that with the price list?
+ provide me the info for my message earlier…forgot to add up ur name while sendg the message…thks..

  • By M2M on Mar 10, 2010

How much the bodykit cost and can i install at dealer place?

  • By Aaron on Mar 10, 2010

Haiih…. :( my sa also said got bodykits earlier for hi spec sedan, now don’t have and the only diff is the rims & tyres. So dissapointing and think im going to ask to change to low specs tomoro d. IMHO no point pay RM3k just for the fog lights, rims and tyres. (even multifunction steering and seats same in low specs.)

    Iza,

Do let us know how much the bodykits cost ya. Thanks.

  • By M2M on Mar 11, 2010

I agree with you Aaron, at first I also booking for High but right now I decided to change to low specs or maybe cancel the booking!

  • By Mazda-ian on Mar 11, 2010

Me too, sooo dissapointed! No keyless entry and bodykit for M2 sedan High spec. Going to cancel my booking!

  • By Aaron on Mar 11, 2010

    Hi M2M,

I just saw (and molested :) )the m2 sedan car (hi-spec) earlier this morning, the size is bigger than expected but the hi specs really not worth it(IMHO). Everything is the same except hi spec got 16in rims/tyres and foglight (SA also mentioned something abt the exhaust being sport version). The suspension for hi-spec is the same except its tuned lower (sport tuning). Low spec comes with multifunction steering as well and 15in rims without foglights.

Another bad news, heard that the bodykits is gonna be 2-3k (for 2 skirting + 1 mini spoiler). However, hatchback got bodykits, don’t know how BERMAZ decided to justify 3k for just the 3 items for sedan.

Am gonna ask my SA to change to low spec if can later. BTW, the brochure is also out d and I don’t see anything on EBD (Electronic Brake distribution) , only got ABS. Does this mean M2 no EBD? Please confirm, thanks

  • By M2M on Mar 11, 2010

Thanks Aaron. M2 really out of my expectation.

    Hi Iza,
Can you send me the M2 sedan brochure. TQ.

  • By bbangel on Mar 11, 2010

I also booked M2 Sedan hi-spec last week but now seems like I am going to change my booking to low specs or even cancel my booking and get back the refund.
Really not worth it to pay more but the specs almost them same except 2 things.
My SA also never update me about the brouchure, when made booking, all ok, all can, now, never give me update news…
    so dissapointed with M2…..

  • By kpg on Mar 11, 2010

    hi,
sure the mazda2 sedan high spec without the keyless? i ask other dealer, they told me tht is include!

  • By Esther on Mar 11, 2010

    Hi Aaron

Where did u view the car?

  • By wwl on Mar 12, 2010

    Guys, read this:
    http://www.mazda.co.th/en/news_detail.php?news_id=151
Mazda2 hatch back is selling from only 535000 Thai Baht in Thailand, which is only around RM53500! See how much tax we have to pay to our government… Haiz!

  • Hi Rash,
I already email u all the relevant documents about Mazda2 (Malaysia) units. Tq

  • Hi M2M and Aaron,
Bodykit cost estimated around RM2-3k. No confirmation yet.

  • Hi Mazda-ian,
Let me clarify about the keyless entry. Few of us including me confuse about the keyless entry. Actually all cars that comes along with remote alarm + central locking do comes with keyless entry. U press the remote to open the car door, without using the keys. Therefore it is called keyless entry. But nowadays, we have smart entry or advanced keyless entry which is same as our Mazda6 2.5L, Mazda CX-7 & CX-9. So, our Mazda2 do comes with keyless entry BUT not smart entry as the Mazda2 – Thailand model.

  • hi M2M,
I already email u all the latest info about the Mazda2 specs. Tq

  • By kelvin on Mar 12, 2010

MAy i know what mean for the leather seat is optional? mean extra cost?

  • By bbangel on Mar 12, 2010

Iza, can email me the mazda 2 spec and brouchure

  • By Aaron on Mar 12, 2010

    Hi Iza,

Can e-mail me the detailed specs also? Thanks.

    Hi Esther,

I viewed the hi-spec m2 sedan ( in Bermaz PJ along the federal highway (gold color). Overall its impressive, you should go and see for yourself, especially the boot size and interior space.

  • By bbangel on Mar 12, 2010

    Hi Aaron,
So, will you still continue to buy ur M2 Sedan but change to low spec?
I will go view it tml…hope i will stick to M2 aft view it….
    Is test drive available???

  • By Aaron on Mar 13, 2010

IMHO, still think its a good car & have changed it to low spec for now. Just a bit dissapointed as there are no bodykits for the hi-end sedan but have for the hi end hatchbach when both is 3k extra for the higher ends.

Really would love to see how Bermaz justify this?

Looks like I get to choose another sport rims with the savings later :)

  • By KKY on Mar 13, 2010

Can you send me a copy of M2 Sedan brochure? Thanks a lot.

  • By KKY on Mar 13, 2010

Please email me the M2 latest information ya.

    thanks

  • By bbangel on Mar 13, 2010

Guys….just view the car today at Bermaz(along fed h/way).
I am quite impress with the exterior but the interior is not so nice and class look.very simple interior…a bit dissapointed with the interior design(maybe cut cost??)…
anyway, got to wait for the test drive to see the zoom-zoom before decide to continue with it or cancel the booking.
Got the brochure and yes i only can see ABS but no
    Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD)
    Emergency Brake Assist (EBA)
as mentioned by IZA for the spec…
    pls confirm.
and yes, I also saw the indication of CD1, CD2, CD3, CD4, CD6 as mention by KKY but when check with SA, they said only single cd no matter what spec….

  • By Aaron on Mar 14, 2010

    Hi bbangel,

Maybe got hope its a 6 cd changer after all. As for EBD and EBA….well lets keep our fingers crossed and I hope Bermaz din’t replace it with the front sensor (IMHO a bit useless unless the driver got no depth perception…its a compact car with a short front for god sakes)

So, are you gonna go for hi end or low end?

  • By bbangel on Mar 14, 2010

    Aaron,
I will go for low spec for Sedan but everything is not confirm yet, need to wait for test drive before I can decide. I felt a bit lost with what the spect, not sure which is given and which is not given.
If not satisfied during test drive, maybe will cancel the booking and get refund…..
I will go for black clr…how about u, Aaron??

  • By KKY on Mar 14, 2010

    Hi all,

I think I will go for R Sedan. The front grille is different from the low spec. May be..?

  • By Aaron on Mar 14, 2010

    Hi bbangel,

Same here . The decision point will be 3 things:-

    1) Finalised specs out
    2) Test drive of sedan both low and hi spec

As for color, I currently drive a black car (looks nice but from experience, very hard to maintain and also very hot, not to mention swirl marks later…so gonna go with white for a change :)

    Hi KKY,

Are you sure the front grille is different for hi-spec? From what I know, the difference is the “lobang” design for the fog lamp. Hope someone from Mazda can confim this few things for us:-

    1) Front grille hi end sedan got difference with low end sedan?

    2) Is EBD and EBA confirmed available for all specs?

    3) Any difference in suspension for low end and hi-end?
(Just tuning difference or also less 1 strut bar?)

    4) Front sensor available for hi-end only or both spec?

    5) Interior the same for both specs? Both water resistant seats?

    6) 6 CD changer or just 1?

Sorry if I sound demanding Bermaz folks. I think as consumer we should be kept informed of the specs so we all can weigh the pros and cons before committing. Thanks again.

  • By Teardrop on Mar 14, 2010

    hi Aaron.
nothing wrong to be demanding at all! in fact, it is feedback from people like you that helps Mazda improve. to answer some of your question, 1)single cd, no changer. 2)front sensor available for both 2)tuning difference only. struts the same 3)front grille difference is the color, follow body color for hi end, black for low end. 4)sorry, no EBD for either specs. not sure about the seats though, the Mazda2 should be in a showroom near you by now. it is already in the showrooms around klang valley as far as i know.

where are you located at by the way?

  • By bbangel on Mar 14, 2010

    Hey,

heard from my SA, the front grille is no difference between hi-spec & low-spec. previously yes, the colour but now confirm same. Only the fog lamp for high-spec and no fog lamp for low spec. another dirrefence is the tyre 15″ & 16″

for Aaron’s point 2-6, i am also hope Bermaz/Mazda SA can give us real answer…..

  • By KKY on Mar 14, 2010

    Hi,
    bbangel.

From the pricelist I got referring V spec front grille is Black Color and R spec front grille is Body Color. Is this true?

May be Iza can help describe more from the 6 points.

  • By bbangel on Mar 15, 2010

    KKY,

U refer to the pricelist before the latest specification brochure, rite?
Yes, the pricelist refer V spec front grille Black clr and R spect front frille is Body clr. That day after go through the new specification brochure from bermaz, i reconfirm with my SA, he said no difference now for the front grille clr for V and R spec….
anyway, just wait for V and R spec for Sedan and hback to reach the showroom and test drive done, only decide.
Coz now, all really under ‘guess’….

  • Hi all !

I have email u all the latest pricelist and specs for both Mazda2 Sedan & Hatchback.

I am also waiting for both model – Std & High Specs to be around therefore i can compare 1-1 between the specs for both model. Anyway, my training for Mazda2 will be this week. Will update u guys if got extra info. Cheers . . .

  • By Aaron on Mar 16, 2010

Thanks teardrop for the clarification. Really dissapointed got no EBD though. Will go and test drive and compare the rspc and vspec before final decision.

However, the “front sensor + heater “…really left me speechless.

  • By CK on Mar 25, 2010

    Hi Iza,

Is the specs for Mazda 2 finalised and confirmed? Meaning there will be no EBD and BA? I think this is most imporatnt among other features as it involves safety. Other like power fold mirror is not that critical. Pls advise. Thanks.

  • By Rico on Mar 27, 2010

    Hi Iza,

I went to Mazda showroom saw the Mazda2 last weekend. I am so dissapointed the Mazda2 did not come with EBD & BA. Only equip with ABS.

Also, the Mazda2 Sedan high spec did not come with trip computer. The front seat also did not come with seat pockets. Really dissapointed……..

  • By M2M on Mar 27, 2010

No EBD & BA still can awarded as The world’s best car???

  • By Thunder on Mar 28, 2010

I just login Mazda Thailand official web site, I found that Mazda2 Hatch back & Sedan version there all come with standard ABS + EBD + BA.

Why Malaysia’ Mazda2 Sedan & Hatch back version do not come with EBD + BA features?

  • By ijan on Mar 30, 2010

where are u iza?? alot of the question didn’t be answered. please update us..

  • Hi Mufasa,
I had email u all the details. Tq

  • Hi CK,
Yupe, no EBD and BA confirm.

  • Hi M2M,
The one that wons WCOTY is the full specs version.

  • Hi Thunder,
    Is the cost factor bro.

  • By Aaron on Apr 2, 2010

    Hi guys,

Guess what. Don’t know whether its good news or what, after I cancelled my booking last week, my SA called me TODAY to tell me that EBD & BA is now confirmed in the M2 and will be announced next week during launching.

I somemore booked another car d. WTF is Bermaz doing? Can someone here please tell me what is going on and whether its true EBD + BA is now in?

  • By CK on Apr 2, 2010

If this is true, it’s a good news for us – all potential buyers for M2.

  • By M2M on Apr 2, 2010

Hi Aaron, u mean all the while the M’sia specs got EBD+BA or Bermaz will shipped another specs that come with EBD+BA from Thailand.

  • Hi All,
Yupe, after confirmation from our management Mazda2 do comes with ABS, EBD and BA.

  • By M2M on Apr 2, 2010

Hi Iza, how come suddently got EBD+BA???
Aren’t you last time comfirmed that M2 M’sia specs
    does not come with EBD+BA!!!
Then next time maybe can said NO EBD+BA again!!!

  • By CK on Apr 2, 2010

Hi guys, aren’t this is what we wants? We should be happy at least Bermaz take note of customers’ feedbacks. Great work…Bermaz!

  • By M2M on Apr 2, 2010

Hi CK, you’re right we should be happy but how concrete is this fact?
Wouldn’t you felt weird, all the while they confirmed not EBD no BA but all the sudden have it.
Anywhere, if the fact is true i’ll definitly buy M2.

  • By CK on Apr 2, 2010

I do agree but Iza has confirmed it with is management. Maybe too many forum are talking about cancelling order if M2 is without EBD+BA. This maybe the trigger for them to put it back.

Maybe we can get Iza to double confirm with his management. If this is true, M2 really will give T & H a good fight.

  • By yong on Apr 2, 2010

hi, Iza can u answer my question?

  • By mel on Apr 2, 2010

hi iza, izzit EBD+EBA available in future batches after launching? How about the 1st batch… got EBD+BA or not? sorry, am a bit confused…

  • By Aaron on Apr 2, 2010

    Hi all,

If got EBD + BA then good for all potential buyers for M2. However, its too late for me…I booked another car d :( and confirmed that I cannot cancel the other booking without losing the sec deposit.

To Bermaz, good that you guys put back the EBD + BA, but you guys (not the SAs here but BERMAZ management) really handled this very unprofesionally. I think the management is playing games with us consumers, testing market or whatever. Now I can’t own a Mazda 2 anymore because I will lose a few K if I cancel the other car.

Another strange thing is…do u mean EBD + BA is in all along or just added for new batch of cars to come in? Any other specs change for hi-spec and lo-spec for sedans? Is bodykits for sedan still not available?

  • By CK on Apr 2, 2010

    Hi Aaron,

Wat car did u book on the other hand? Normally no matter what car u book, they allow u to take back your deposit if u decided to cancel. I have been buying cars for 5 times in my life, so far everytime i book the car, the SA said can take back deposit if decide not to proceed.

  • By xxx on Apr 2, 2010

with EBD+EBA..M2 will look better, and potential buyers like me will reconsider M2.

but still, we need the TRIP COMPUTER!! its 2010 car lah!!

  • By Mazdaian on Apr 2, 2010

If BERMAZ added for new batch of cars with EBD+BA. Then it will not fair to the buyer who get the 1st batch of car without EBD+BA system (like me)!

  • By aby on Apr 2, 2010

    Dear All,

Do you know how to check whether the EBD + BA are installed in the car even though they are not stated in the car specs leaflet.

  • Hi all,
Received email from top management confirm that all Mazda2 comes with ABS, EBD and BA. We just wait for the launching :) All doubt will be answer :)

  • By northernL on Apr 3, 2010

hi, can u ask the management to put the trip computer please! please!!!!!

  • By Aaron on Apr 3, 2010

    Hi CK,

I already asked whether refundable or not before placing deposit. In fact the T&C also say not refundable behind as I booked the car after test drive and I know the SA personally. Mabe can refund if make enough noise but dont wanna kacau them since they gave me a good offer, rates (loan also approved d and quite low) and freebies d plus my car will arrive very soon.

  • By Dhillon on Apr 4, 2010

  • Hi Yuszairi.
Here is the statements from Bermaz management :-

In U.S market, Mazda is conducting a recall on Mazda3 2.0L and Mazda 5 cars manufactured from 1 April 2007 to 30 November 2008. However, the current (new) Mazda3 Sport and other Mazda models are not affected.

Please be assured that a RECALL is not required in Malaysia as there have not been any safety related occurrences to date. There may however be some isolated cases, when drivers may experience heaviness in the steering system. When this happens, the driver can still steer the car with a little more effort.

We acknowledge that the recent press release by Mazda Corporation to RECALL cars in the USA may cause anxiety for some Mazda owners. Recognizing the safety factor and to give assurance to our Mazda customers, Bermaz Motor will initiate a service campaign to check all Mazda 3 and Mazda 5 sold between May 01 2007 to December 30 2008.
