Mazda’s compact MPV, the Mazda5, which has been on the Malaysia market since 2006 will get a styling update for 2008. Thank You & Regards,

  • By Izaruddin on May 6, 2008

    Hi,
I thought JPJ disallowed Xenon HID Light. Any issues later with JPJ?

  • By nars on Jul 5, 2008

Does the new facelift 5, comes with GPS/reverse camera? or is it an add-on option frm Bermaz?

  • By Izaruddin on Jul 5, 2008

Before all New cars been allowed to sell, it will be test drive & evaluated by JPJ. Therefore for Mazda5 Xenon HID, it already been approved by JPJ to be used on Malaysian roads.

All Mazda5 been sell in Malaysia comes without the GPS indash screen and reverse camera. But u can install an external GPS Navigator and reverse camera with LCD screen as an optional accessories.

    Hi,

I’ve a question on Mazda5 rear a/c. If I’m not mistaken the new models have rear a/c. How can we install those and how much does it cost? Fyi, we got our Mazda 5 in Aug 2006. Love it very much except for the a/c as those who seated at the 3rd seat will not get much a/c unless we put it at no 3 or full blown. But then the driver and front passenger will be frozen in 5 mins..hehe..pls advice. And pls advice on RX8 facelift too..am crazy over it..;)

    Thanks.

    Iez

  • By Izaruddin on Aug 25, 2008

Yupe. The previous 2006 FL do not have a rear air-con blower. My advised, do not install it now because it will void ur vehicle warranty (3 Years/100,00km). From the user feedback, the only place u can install the rear air-con blower is in Singapore accessories shop. but it is very costly and will spend several days to install it.
As for the RX-8 FL, it will be launch soon. Will update here once i get any new info. Do keep updated.

  • By WYT on Apr 8, 2009

Mr Izaruddin, my wife and I are planning to buy the Mazda 5 (thumbs up!). I’ve got 2 questions which I hope you would answer to your best knowledge, of course.

    Question 1
When surfing the internet on Mazda 5, I came across Mazda 5 2009 model in the US. Is there a 2009 model for Malaysia?

    Question 2
Given that the current Mazda 5 (2006 & 2008) model has been around for more than 3 years, when will Mazda launch the replacement model (if any)?

    Thanks.

  • By Izaruddin on Apr 14, 2009

Hi WYT. Yes, the Mazda5 2009 already arrive here. Both of the 2008 and the 2009 are exactly the same model. Only year made is different. Thats why we have cash rebate and free service for 3 years for the 2008 model. As for the replacement model for Mazda5, i do not have any news yet.

  • By WYT on Apr 21, 2009

Thank you for your reply. What’s the waiting period for Mazda5 2009?

Can I add DVD player without voiding warranty?

  • By Eddie Lim on Aug 2, 2009

    Hi Izar,
My wife and I are looking for MPV and interested in the Mazda5. Is it possible for you to arrange a test drive a unit sometime soon at a branch in Selangor? Driving the real thing beats comparing specs of various models provided an expert is around to explain the features and functions. BTW, we are also looking at Wish and Stream models.

  • By Izaruddin on Aug 7, 2009

    Hi Eddie Lim,
As for now, we have sold off all our stocks of Mazda5. Even the Test Drive units also been sold off at discounted rate. Stocks will be arriving around Sept 09. Will update u again when Test Drive car is available.

  • By Rahman Ghani on Feb 4, 2010

    Hi,
I have just received my Mazda 5 2 days ago, what are the recomended fuel , the Ron 95 or the Ron 97 , I have started with the Ron 97 as I got the info that Ron 95 will make the engine rough ???

  • Hi Rahman,
All Mazda cars are suited to use Ron95. If Ron95 will make ur engine rough, i am not sure. But from customer feedback, Ron97 will give u more torque (pickup) compare to Ron95. It is same to Honda, Toyota and others.
