  The car is already arrived in Malaysia and been kept in our Stock Yard before the launching event soon. Later it will be preview in our showroom after the launching. Mazda6 price is very competetive especially with its specs and a CBU Japan car

  Will update here ASAP i have the “exact” specs for Mazda6 2.0L. At the moment, what i knew & from viewing the actual 2.0L model is like a basic specs from the 2.5L.

  Yupe. There is no DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) in 2.0L model. Same as the previous model, it is only fitted on the higher spec of Mazda6.

  At this moment, there is no dealer for Mazda at JB only service centre. But there will be one later as they are now setting it up. At the meantime, u can order ur directly from Bermaz.

  Hi, I bought a 2 litre Mazda 6 saloon here in Singapore in May & drove to KL the same month with just under 1000 km on the clock. I thought I’d share some views with your readers. The car does about 9 – 10 km/ltr in S’pore but on the trip to/from KL I got 13 km/ltr. The ride on straight roads is a bit choppy (maybe due to the 225/50/17 tyres!) and the engine is certainly not as smooth as my previous car a Cefiro 2.0 V6 but that is understandable. The 5 speed auto is a bit noisy when it downshifts to 4th. The auto is definitely set for economy as the acceleration perks up a lot when you use the paddle shifts. Based on the specs you posted the 2.0 ltr here comes with 6 airbags & original leather seats. Looks are personal but it has been described as a poor man’s Lexus. Not as common as Thai Camrys, fuel guzzling Cefiros, or huge/too long/new Accords, and may it stay that way for a bit of exclusivity.

  Thanx for ur review. About the noisy sound when u mention above, i tested it here and cant find the problem. It goes smooth as tested. The specs i posted, 6 airbag and leather seats were for the 2.5L. I think u mislook it . But as i knew, Singapore have several models for the Mazda6 2.0 / 25L. Here we only have the Full Specs 2.5L and Low Specs 2.0L only

  Hi. It’s not so much a noisy sound. What I meant is that when you are cruising in 5th on the highway at 120 kmh & say you step down to 4th, the engine noise increases a fair bit. Here we have the 2.5 L, and 3 versions of the 2.0 L – a base V spec saloon (red tail lights, no luminous speedometer, meters, 16″ rims, etc), a R spec saloon and hatchback (white tail lights, luminous speedos, 17″ rims, etc). For the 2.0 L they all have 6 airbags, made-in-Japan leather seats, xenon lights.

  Wow . . . 3 versions of Mazda6 2.0L ? BERMAZ might also import in the full specs version of Mazda6 2.0L, but if the price is sooo close to 2.5L there is no point selling it here . Buyer might just go for the 2.5L full specs rather than a 2.0L full specs. Thats why i guess why they never bring it in.

  I bought the base 2.0L for S$87k, add S$5k for the R saloon, another S$2k for R hatchback, then finally another S$5k for the 2.5L. So total price diff between base 2.0 and 2.5 is S$12k. FYI

  Transportation will cost u around RM 3800-4500 to Kuching, Sarawak. Mazda Malaysia (BERMAZ) now only sell the Sedan version only.

  I just want to confirm whether New 2010 Mazda6 2.5 l sports sedan have a different trim & specs from 2009 model. I have read in the internet regarding 2009 upgrade for Mazda 6 2.5 L that there will be lane change assist fitted as standard and Mazda had claimed be among the first automotive manufacutrer to fit in these features as standard. Are these features equipped in Malaysian market Mazda 6 2.5 l.

  Waiting period for Mazda6 2.5L new FL for now is about 2 month. Test drive is still on the old FL. Yes, it is confirm FREE Service for 3 yrs or 60,000km which ever come 1st.

  Waiting period for Mazda6 2.5 for now is 2-3 month. Right now we have the previous facelift model for test drive. Should be the same feeling i guess because the new FL no changes in engine parts and gearbox. Do contact me to reserved a seat for u for a test drive. Yes, for now Mazda6 comes with 3yrs (60,000km) FREE Service (include parts and labour)
