nice pix…will berjaya bring in mazda 2?

  • By Izaruddin on May 7, 2008

Thanx bro. Just wanna give more info and awareness to all.

Heard that Mazda2 will be bring in later this year. Direct from Japan (CBU). Bro, do visit here and give more comments often lol. I knew u are Mazda die-hard fan :)

  • By erymanthus on May 7, 2008

Thanks for the nice photos :)

Hmm, i wonder whether Mazda 6 has a different kind of rear sensors. From the rear view photos, it clearly shows that they do not have those typical round sensors we see in most cars….

  • By Izaruddin on May 8, 2008

It will be fitted before delivery bro :) . Heard both front & back sensor.

Does 2.5L has stormy blue color? 2.0 is look great in this blue.

  • By Izaruddin on May 8, 2008

Nope. As u knew 2.5L only comes with Pearl White and Lilac Silver. But later Black color also will be available. Yupe, Stormy Blue the color is nice.

  • By Alan on May 8, 2008

I see. Is it possible 2.5 with stormy blue in the future?
    Thanks.

  • By Erymanthus on May 8, 2008

Will Bermaz bring in Lilac Silver for the 2.0L in the future?

  • By Izaruddin on May 9, 2008

If there is a demand (more booking) on different color for Mazda6 2.5L / 2.0L, for sure my management will bring in that color. But at the meantime, management try to differentiate both the model by 2.5L – Light color and 2.0L – Darker color. And it is fixed for now.

  • By hazri on Sep 2, 2008

how about the maintenance? is it high? is mazda malaysia gain good resale value for the past years? if i book this car (thru penang of course as the nearest to kedah) now, will i get in the beginning of Dis 2008? (looking for 2.5) how to book the car thru penang dealer as i’m in france now. don’t want to involve anybody in malaysia as this is surprise. thanks

  • By William on Sep 29, 2008

hi, is there any comparison data between M6 2.5L, camry2.4L & accord2.4L? Can’t decide now. And why the interest rate for mazda is higher compared to toyota or Honda? Love the mazda6 but worry about maintenance & resale value.

  • By ravenb on Dec 1, 2008

spot on william i’m in the same dilema… plan to get the year 09 car..

  • By Izaruddin on Dec 1, 2008

Dun worry about resale value. Mazda6 2.5L just won Car Of The Year 2008 (Overall). Furthermore, with the higher specs compare to H&T, those upgrade can absorb ur resale value. Just imagine installing those Bose sound system only :) . Not yet including totally keyless entry, push start, sunroof, 18″ Japan sports rim, HID Bi-xenon and so on :)

Maintainance are low compare to conti car and on par as Honda and Toyota. Coz all of us were Japanese cars. I can email u the service cost and parts value too.

  • By ravenb on Dec 3, 2008

Pls do.. After Raya I will make an appointment with you any offer for 08 car…

  • By Steven on Dec 4, 2008

Done some test drive of Peugeot 407, Camry 2.4, Mazda6 2.0 and 2.5 before I decided which one to get, and the ride of M6 2.5 was too great to made me skipped test drive of 2.4 Accord. ….. fall in love with my M6 in Black. And for lower resale value vehicle, I find it safer and lower the chance to lost your lovely car.

  • By ravenb on Dec 6, 2008

Guy Thrusday was an evenfull day for me.. I tested the mazda 6 2.5.

We took the car from the showroom. As we left we got stuck in a jam.. quite pleasant though..The m6 dual aircond system and bose sound system kept me entertained..

Our sales man told us to test the car on the ampang elevated highway.Trust me we really tested it. Off jln jelatek on to the highway the m6 took off as i floored the acellarator. Taking corners at abt 140kmh++ the m6 was asking for more.. Japanese Dunlop tyre does a good job with the ride and handling.

We reached the toll plaza. After the U turn decide to try the paddle shift .goog timing and response doesnt let you drop to a too low gear for the speed you are travelling.

Managed to test it to 160km/h our salesman was pretty shaken up. But the car was rock steady and asked for more.Tried sliding the car but was Not successfull..

Powerfull brakes and very Solid suspension not too soft or too hard.

The m6 is slightly slougish on the gear 1 and 2 but 3.4.5 boy it comes to live very well..

Keyless go and hand sensor works fine. Size in side the CAR is great. Nice conti feeling on the steering unlike H ’s light steering.. EPSS damn light..

Basically everthing that u could want in car..

CONS- Brake dust quite a bit.

Back end i.e could be a bit better looking..Who cares when u have a front and side like this anyway..

Gear 1 and 2 pickup could be slightly improved but 3.4.5. great..

In short if u are feeling down.. test the M6..

PS the 2.5 Will blow you off your feet…

Book mine soon… JUST LOVELY.. ZOOM ZOOM

    Welcome to the club :P Lets Zoom~ Zoom~ Zoom~~~
The sales rep. who served me claimed that it may take 4 months in waiting list for a M6 2.5 Pearl White. Told him I need the white baby on my wedding date (which was 5 years ago … hehe) but I still can’t get it and end up having black baby in 3 weeks.

  • By Izaruddin on Dec 10, 2008

5 Years ago? 4 month waiting list? Now, my showroom will not take that long for u to have the Mazda6 2.5L. Now i have 1 Pearl White and Black (08) in stocks. 09 will be deliver around mid of Jan 09 if u book now.

  • By Steven on Dec 10, 2008

ya .. got married 5 years ago. But I told the sales rep. I need one Pearl White M6 2.5L for my wedding coz can’t think of any better reason :P
Iza, any idea of when the new M3 launch in M’sia ? will it be mid of 2009 like M6 2009 lauched in mid of 2008 ? I’m considering 2010 M3 or Peugeot 407 for my wife on her birthday in Aug. May wait for the new 408 in year 2011 if M3 only launch in 2010.

  • By ravenb on Dec 10, 2008

Iza 08 cars got any special offer deals in 09..

  • By Izaruddin on Dec 11, 2008

As for now, we have to clear those existing stock 1st. From my point of view, it will arrive in 2009. Which month . . . . do not know yet.

Ravenb, my advised is just wait untill it reach 09. Then just let me give u a ring :)

  • By Adran Wong on May 30, 2009

Hi there, could anyone assist me with the price of the mazda6 2.5l front sport bumper.
I am planning to get a mazda6 2.0l car with it.
    Thanks!

Madza 6 – i only have to say, its a FASTASTIC car! Got mine a 2.5l version about 3mths ago. Mine is a red one (the 1st and still the only one in Malaysia now!). was looking at the pearl white one but had to wait for 3-4 mths then. so went for the red one as the salesman said its readily available.
Just a superb car anyway u look at it. No way u can compare a Camry 2.4l or an Accord 2.4l. my simple comparison below:
    1) CBU vs CKD
    2) Price (for a CBU car its even more worthwhile anytime!)
    3) Looks: ppl tend to look when u r driving a M6.. (of cos it also attracts lots of chicks!)
    M6 – sporty and unique
    Camry – an uncle’s car
Accord – an ah beng’s car (some ah beng who recently
made it rich usually will upgrade to accord)
    4) Resale value: this is typical malaysian question, so
if u luv your car n if u luv the M6, just go buy it n dont even think of this! the very fact that u own a M6, u r DIFFERENT!
    5) Specs: i need not elaborate!
the M6 beats any car in its class for the specs offered! some of them: keyless entry n ignition, bose speakers, moonroof, 18inch wheels (with 5th wheel as well)..(forget about camry n accord!)
So go to test your M6 n go get one now!
PS – my personal opionion is its more worth your money getting the 2.5l version, cos the 2.0l model is really low spec-ed…

    Mr Magoo

You got the red one? Its a magnificent colour in my opinion. You made the right choice but its not the only one in Malaysia. I’ve seen one on the road, driven by a lady. It was the colour I wanted but chose Galaxy Grey instead. Have not seen any other greys on the road at the moment. Would love to see pictures of your red Mazda 6 if possible. I have been looking around to see an actual unit in red. Do join http://www.mymazdaclub.com You can get lots of information about our car there.

  • By Izaruddin on Jun 12, 2009

Wow ! Mr Magoo, thats one straight to the point facts :)
