when can test drive?
By erymanthus on Jun 5, 2009
I like the 6 airbags, button controls on steering and paddle shift…great specs for the 2.0L. Well done Bermaz….if only the Mazda 6 2.0L have these kind of specs and I would have booked one…sigh
Anyway, let’s wish Mazda 3 a great success here…time to shake the Civic and Altis which are all over the road…boring already…
By Izaruddin on Jun 6, 2009
Hi NG. Test Drive is available upon appointment. Do contact me for further info. Tq

When can we expect the 1st batch of delivery to customers and the waiting period for the next orders?
By ShaggyChin on Jun 11, 2009
WoW~~WoW~~I like it much…Just like my dream car…I think altis n civic meet s super oppenant liao…haha…How was the loan interest for Mazda3 2.0 Sports???
By Wan on Jun 12, 2009
Very interested in this one. Recommending this to my father who is looking for a new car right now. Can someone pls tell me what is the bodykit difference between 1.6 and 2.0? From the spec, 2.0 has extra front airdam. However, fail to see any difference from the pictures. Izaruddin?
By Izaruddin on Jun 12, 2009
Yupe, Erymanthus & ShaggyChin; now Civic had 1-1 opponent lol
ShaggyChin, as for now Interest Rate for Mazda is around 3.2% for 5-7 years and 3.5% for 9 Years. Depend on which bank.
By Izaruddin on Jun 12, 2009
Hi Wan. The different in bodykits between Mazda3 Sport 2.0/1.6L if u can see the back bumper downpart is black in color but the 2.0L bumper is same color as the body. Others will be Fog lamp, Rear light (LED or Bulb) and no signal light at the bodykit. 2.0L is install at the side mirror.
By Davin on Jun 12, 2009
A beauty in its class… Cool specs and not to mention the handling… When can we expect the cars to be on the road? This month? And what is the waiting period like?
By kay on Jun 16, 2009
hi izaruddin,
i believe the current interest rate is 3.25% to 3.5% am i correct? is it possible to lower the loan amount and get a relatively lower interest rate(say a 40% dp).
also, the promotion for the previous mazda 3 includes a 3 year free service and maintenace. does this extend to the new mazda 3 sport as well?
nice looking car…really am tempted! will have to go for a test drive first tho..
By Izaruddin on Jun 16, 2009
Yes. The interest rate could be lower if u putting more on the downpayment. Do contact me for further details.
As for the FREE service, it is only implemented for the older model of Mazda3. Do contact me for a test drive. Tq
By Izaruddin on Jun 16, 2009
Davin, the waiting period for Mazda3 Sport 2.0L is around Aug/Sept 09. As for Mazda3 Sport 1.6L, delivery is fast due to the booking is more towards 2.0L.
By Kenvin on Jun 16, 2009
Hi Izaruddin,
You mentioned the waiting period is around Aug/Sept 09. Does this only apply to buyers who placed their bookings after the 100 units quota?
I was informed that those who placed their bookings before the 100 units quota threshold, would be getting their cars by end of July (2 weeks plus from now).
Can you verify pls?
By Izaruddin on Jun 16, 2009
Hi Kenvin,
It is very subjective to discuss the matter of the Mazda3 Sport 2.0L delivery. U must check it out with your SE the delivery status. Furthermore, the delivery is batch by batch although the stock is in the same shipment. Anyway just asking, u book the car from dealer or BERMAZ ?
By Kenvin on Jun 17, 2009
Hi Izaruddin,
Thanks for extending such clarity. I booked my ride with a dealer. Apparently from my visit last weekend, there is already a white M3 2.0 that has a registration plate attached to it. Upon checking with the SE, they said that unit was ready for collection from the owner on Monday (2 days back) as he/she booked in advance. Make sense?
Therefore in short, we should be seeing M3 on our roads by now, if you’re lucky
By Izaruddin on Jun 18, 2009
Hi Kenvin,
It might also the customer already bought/tender the plate no. Therefore the SE order the plate no and stick it to the car. Anyway, by this week batch by batch is coming out. Mostly for the customer which book the car before the launching date.
By Chongwk on Jun 22, 2009
Hi Iza,
Do you comparisons between T&H ? or atleast the major difference or fallbacks?
Hi Kenvin,
Still can’t seem to see one bro
… But what u said is true, car delivered.. Went to this dealer and he said no problem in getting the car in 7days..
What happen to David’s comment?
By nadd on Jun 26, 2009
i know the new M3 is out but still prefer the old ones. is it still in the market?
By Izaruddin on Jun 27, 2009
Yupe. The old model Mazda3 2.0L still available (Sedan only)
By nadd_scud on Jun 30, 2009
Since the M3 Sport is out, any promo on the old version? Appreciate if you could provide the details…basic and full spec please~
By Mike on Jul 1, 2009
I hear from my dealer that i have to wait till Aug/Sept for my car even tho i’ve book it (2.0L) before the launching. The dealer said all the cars have been sold and there is no more stock so have to wait for next shipment. Is that true?
By Izaruddin on Jul 1, 2009
Hi Nadd.
Price for old Mazda3 was updated:-
Mazda3 1.6L – OTR RM93,000.00 & Free Garmin GPS
Mazda3 2.0L – OTR RM116,000.00 & Free garmin GPS
It comes with standard specs without bodykit & leather seat. It is an optional add-on.
Hi Mike,
As for now, we are delivery batch by batch to customer which book the car before the launching since last week. But due to limitation of stock in certain colors, yes u do need to wait for the next shipment also.
Thats the advantage if u book from Branch (Bermaz) compare to dealer because branch we have stock
By Mike on Jul 1, 2009
Hi Iza,
Thanks for the feedback. I wonder which Garmin GPS did my peers that have their new Mz3Sport got?
By nadd_scud on Jul 1, 2009
Thx for the update Izaruddin. How much will it cost to add-on the body kit & leather seat? And the price quoted only at Bermaz? There’s a Mazda showroom at Bukit Tinggi Klang…is it under Bermaz too? So sorry but I’m totally lost!!!=P
By Fat Joe on Jul 1, 2009
Damn..That really long to wait..So when is the next shipment for Bermaz expected to be? Any chances of getting one from that batch? What are the colors in demand? Maybe I can go for the ones which are available..
By Brian R on Jul 2, 2009
Yes, please let me know the price to add on the bodykit. I baru booked my M3.
By Izaruddin on Jul 2, 2009
Hi Mike,
The Garmin GPS model should be Garmin 205W
Hi Nadd & Brian,
In Bukit Tinggi in Klang is not under BERMAZ. Thats our dealer only.
Add-on bodykit? All our Mazda3 Sports comes along with the bodykits. Therefore no need to add any. Leather seat (2 Tone Color) should be RM2800. As for Bermaz, our vendor will install it. For Dealers, i have no idea. The best, go for BERMAZ therefore u will get superb workmanship
Hi Joe,
because there is also customer cancel due to “Loan Application” rejected by banks
Next shipment will arrive in August & Sept. August is fully booked. Sept should be 90% booked. Any chances? Might be
By Fat Joe on Jul 3, 2009
Thanks Izza. Wow!! The car is selling like hot cake
.. Lets give H & T a blow
.. Have to wait that long meh.. Correct me if I’m wrong,I understand there is a shipment in July as well. Any bigger chance of me getting one from there? I’m not fussy about the color .. If there is, I’ll run to your showroom …
By Brian R on Jul 3, 2009
Hi Izza,
I was enquiring for the bodykit price for the old M3, not the new M3 Sports.
Cheers
By Izaruddin on Jul 3, 2009
Hi Brian,
Oppsss sorry, i thought the Mazda3 Sport because this comment is in the Mazda3 Sport column. Anyway, the bodykit for Mazda3 is RM1500.00 (including spoiler). Tq
By Fat Joe on Jul 5, 2009
Any luck/news,Izza? Went to a few showrooms over the weekend and 2 off them said 3rd week July..The rest as u mentioned August/Sept.
By Izaruddin on Jul 5, 2009
Hi Joe,
U prefer 1.6L or 2.0L ?
By Fat Joe on Jul 6, 2009
Hi Izza,
The 2.0L. I believe that’s a well worth money spent on. My apologies if this may not be the appropriate place to ask, but what I lose out if I’m comparing this with a Acc. 2.0
thanks bro
By Mike on Jul 7, 2009
Hi Izza,
The stock 2.0L car comes with what anti-theft features? Alarm/immobiliser?
By Izaruddin on Jul 7, 2009
Yupe. Both the Mazda3 and Mazda3 Sport 2.0L comes with immobiliser.
By SSOO on Jul 27, 2009
Hi, may i know is the leather seat only come with dual color (black+beige)?

By Mike on Jul 27, 2009
Hi Izza,
Is it true that the Mazda 3 sport comes already with UV windows?
By Izaruddin on Jul 28, 2009
Hi SSoo,
The all black leather seat can be request, no problem.

Hi Joe,

By Ken on Aug 19, 2009
Hi, do you have an estimate when would be the next batch of shipment due to arrive for September delivery? Dealers in PG told me that I need to wait for 3mths for the Mazda3, causing me to put on hold my thoughts about purchasing M3. You insight is much appreciated. Also I was told that branches get priority vs dealers. I think this is something you have to change in terms of priority in delivery schedule. I wished we have Bermaz in PG but too bad all we have are dealers. So, is there any way to prioritize?
By Izaruddin on Aug 21, 2009
Hi Ken,
Yupe, branches have more priority compare to dealers when it comes to stock allocation. We do have orders from Penang, Johor, Terengganu and so on because the customer prefer to deal with branches compare to dealer.
By Xavier on Sep 1, 2009
Hi, Is the black hatchback is still available? How much are you selling?

Hey Mr Izar, thanks for the details.
Im curious, the shipment for Malaysia comes with the front bumper, the center line painted with the body color.
Can we choose not to have it painted that way?
By locoroco on Nov 26, 2009
Is it possible to addon Traction Control or Dynamic Stability Control upon request? If so, how much additional cost?
By chang on Nov 27, 2009
Am curious and frustrated..booked M3 and it has already been 4mths, still no signs or any updates when I will receive the car. Is there someone from Bermaz that could help to check and at least give me a courtesy call? I just want to know the real status. I’m working overseas. This is the 2nd time I flew back because I was told I could receive the car in Nov and now…still have not heard from anyone. This is a serious customer experience issue, Bermaz need to take action now else your future reputation will be badly affected. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a Mazda fan. I’ve a RX8.
By azri on Nov 29, 2009

Salam Mr Izaruddin, I got ur no from Mazda blog. I’m staying in Ipoh. I’m planning to change my next car to Mazda3 (drooling for a while now…I refuse to follow the ‘herd’: T&H brand..).
A couple of Q;
1)Just curious whether there is any Mazda authorised dealer in Ipoh or only via Bermaz(not yet in Ipoh?)
2)how about servicing & maintenance dealer in Ipoh?
Appreciate ur prompt reply. TQ

By Wan Rosmadey on Jan 3, 2010
Salam Din:
I just got the new M3 Sport 2.0 last Thu (Dec 31′09) from Ampang Branch.
My excitment of having new M3 is spoilt when I accidently discovered that the following items are not fitted in the car:-
1) Driver’s footlight – both driver & front left sides
2) Bodykit – front airdam both left & right sides
Have complained to the Sales Manager & was told that all M3 shipment batch received in Dec 09 are not fitted with these items and they were not aware of it!. Can you please confirm this? I have emailed my complain to him and he promised to bring-up this issue to Bermaz HQ in PJ.
Frankly, it is so disappointed to receive a car which does not meet my expectation as listed in the published M3 specification. I feel it is not fair on me and somehow cheated when Bermaz expected me to make a full payment for the car where as Bermaz does not meet the price list/specification. Such imperfection certainly does not guarantee ‘peace of mind’ as claimed by Bermaz.
I hope this issue can be resolved soonest & in professionally manner.
By Izaruddin on Jan 3, 2010
Hi Wan,
Very sorry to hear ur news. Dont worry, the management will sort things out for u.

Bro,
Is it true that Mazda 3 Sport has been downgraded to Mazda 3?? Cus I checked your official Mazda website and was shocked to discover a massive downgraded in features!
The following are what Ive noticed…
1. no more 5 speed for 2.0
2. no bi xenon that comes with auto leveling for 2.0
3. no front airdams
4. no rain sensor
5. no dual zone air conditioning for 2.o
6. no 6 cds changer with 6 speakers for 2.0
7. no paddle shifters
8. no adjustable arm rest for 2.0
9. no drivers footlight
10. no interior welcome lights
11. no boot release on ignition key that also control the power windows
12. no more 6 airbags for 2.0
Seriously???? This many downgrades for a meager price downgrade of rm3-4k??
Pls come back to me at the earliest with the latest info…I hope all mentioned above isnt true, if it is….Im profoundly shocked and displeased my Bermaz’s action.

Hi Bro,
Is it Mazda official web site accidentally put back the last generation Mazda 3′ specification?
If it is true, what the hell with the web administration doing for the web site.
You should inform Bermaz put back the correct specification. Otherwise, It will confuse the pontetial customers.

Hi Iza,
Good day.
I am just wondering that any equipment or accessories updated for 2010 Mazda3 Sport 1.6 version?
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
By mb3300 on Mar 29, 2010
Hey Rico
Yes, I have already spoke to someone from Bermaz, they said will amend it.
Such errors would seriously chase away potential buyers, moreover on their OFFICIAL website. Hmmm
Some info I manage to gather, that the driver’s footlight and front air dam wont be available in the 2010 models. And also, I was told, there is alarm system this time around. I guess no more immobalizer?
By Rico on Mar 29, 2010
Hi mb3300
Is it true that the driver foot-light, front air dam & Immobilizer will be excluded from 2010 Mazda3 Sport 1.6 & 2.0 models?
If it is true, I wonder why Bermaz Malaysia want to excluded those accessories.
I think Iza has to answer us those questions. Otherwise, I won’t place any order for Mazda3 Sport.
By mb3300 on Apr 1, 2010
Hi Rico
Yup I suppose that is true as these info came from a Mazda SA. All 3 aren’t included. I hope the immobilizer can be fitted back in though. The others can be still fixed, just hope such action will not void warranty.
Which one you plan on buying Rico? 1.6 or 2.0? What color?

2. Bi-Xenon with auto levelling
3.Yupe, no front air dams
4.With rain sensor (2.0L)
5.With Dual Zone aircon (2.0L)
6.With 6 CD changer (2.0L)
7. With paddle Shifter (2.0L)
8. With adjustable arm rest (2.0L)
9.No driver foot light
10.with welcome light
11.with boot release
By Izaruddin on Apr 1, 2010
Hi Rico,
Beyond my control bro. Yupe, i saw it too. Already mention to them. For 1.6L, still the same specs for upcoming batch of shipment. I think the cost is the main factor.

Thx!
By Izaruddin on Apr 15, 2010
Hi Felix,
1.Direct mode is u can switch the gear without convert into manual mode. Same as the RX-8. Only in 2.0L
2. Nope, only in 2.0L. Cant be add-on. It will void warranty
3. Nope. Both model does not comes with Advance or Smart Entry
4. Nope.
By Raja on Apr 16, 2010
Are you sure about the direct mode only available in 1.6L? It surely worked when I test drove the 2.0L. Maybe you need to check your facts again.
Come on, adding a fog light will void the warranty? Void everything or only the electrical part?
By Felix Wong on Apr 17, 2010
I’m interesting on 1.6L model, as Raja mentioned, adding a fog light will void a whole parts warranty? I hope you do have some genuine Mazda accessories like fog lamps and spoiler. I know it’s not NOW but I do hope that you guys are working on bringing that parts to M’sia SOON, since you’re the MAIN Mazda distributor in M’sia.
By Izaruddin on Apr 17, 2010
Hi Felix,
Sorry, typo error. It is only for 2.0L.
By Felix Wong on Apr 17, 2010
Thanks, it’s noted.
